Patient Billing Specialist

Talkiatry

• Contact patients regarding outstanding balances and assist with billing-related questions. • Manage delinquent account lists and communicate past-due or discharge notices as needed. • Work with third-party collection agencies to add or remove patients from collections and resolve any agency inquiries. • Uphold HIPAA standards and maintain confidentiality in all interactions. • Educate patients on their insurance benefits, coverage details, and expected out-of-pocket costs.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in medical billing, collections, or healthcare revenue cycle management
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems preferred
  • Familiarity with working alongside collection agencies
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
