Operational Excellence Manager
Clarios
• Transform Clarios Manufacturing's results by applying lean principles • Serve as a facilitator, educator, advocate, consultant, and accountability partner to support staff team members in Operations, Engineering, and Functional Groups across multiple sites • Conduct monthly OEX reviews across the facilities you support • Establish KPI baselines and share best practices throughout the region
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 5 years as a leader in a mature lean organization
- At least 5 years of working in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and transform results and processes by applying Lean techniques

• Oversee the daily operations of contract carriers, including maintaining contractor schedules, monitoring routes, reports and fostering positive working relationships with contract carriers and helpers • Develop and mentor staff to reach goals, train staff on company policies and procedures • 50%-75% travel in Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana • Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes • Manage the dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day • Identify problem areas, including restructuring routes to improve operational efficiencies • Train and develop contract carriers, and dispatchers to meet and exceed customer expectations • Ensure that all work is completed accurately and within established time frame • Ensure photos are taken for every job • Allocate and request additional resources as needed
