Senior Corporate Counsel – Real Estate, Project Finance
QTS Data Centers
• Supporting the company’s legal operations in a variety of matters, with a focus that includes general corporate matters, corporate governance, regulatory and compliance matters, insurance, vendor contract negotiations, internal corporate policies and procedures, along with drafting and negotiating other transactional matters including managing books and record keeping. • Overseeing general corporate legal matters • Negotiating and drafting customer and vendor contracts as well as various other transactional matters • Assisting with legal and regulatory compliance • Assisting with corporate governance matters as well as managing books and records • Assisting with compliance with various domestic and international privacy laws • Assisting with the company’s data security program • Assisting with management of the Company’s insurance program and operations • Assisting with a variety of other legal functions such as loans, joint ventures, acquisitions, construction, real estate, intellectual property protection, tax abatements, litigation, etc. • Managing collections on customer accounts • Performing a broad range of legal matters and general business matters based on the needs of the company, as assigned. • Working with and managing outside counsel, counterparties, insurers, and other third parties as needed
Job Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials
- Admission to the Bar of a U.S. state or the District of Columbia
- Five or more years of legal experience as a practicing lawyer working in a general corporate transactional practice
- Experience with project finance and/or asset-based lending
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Hands-on, self-starter who is disciplined and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Agile and versatile; comfortable with new and unfamiliar subject matter; easily adaptable to change
- Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Enterprising and entrepreneurial
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong listening, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environment
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel), Box, Workday, DocuSign

- Able to effectively manage complicated legal and business issues

About the Role We are looking for a Financial Analyst to help drive planning, reporting, and decision support across the business. This role will partner closely with leaders in functions such as G&A, R&D, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to improve financial visibility, support investment decisions, and strengthen forecasting accuracy. A key success criterion will be assisting in building out the company’s PowerBI reporting framework for across org decision making. As such, prior experience with PowerBI or similar software is extremely valuable. The ideal candidate is analytically strong, comfortable working with large data sets, and able to turn financial and operational data into clear recommendations. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to influence business decisions and build their brand internally. What You’ll Do - Partner with business leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operating reports, including budget vs. actuals - Build and maintain financial models for headcount, departmental spending, revenue scenarios, and investment decisions - Deliver variance analysis and explain key drivers, risks, and opportunities to finance and non-finance stakeholders - Support SaaS and operating metric reporting, including bookings, ARR, retention, churn, and other topline KPIs as applicable - Help develop scenario models and business cases to support strategic initiatives and resource allocation - Collaborate with Accounting to ensure alignment between actuals, accruals, and management reporting - Improve reporting processes, data quality, and forecast efficiency through automation and AI - Contribute to executive presentations, board materials, and ad hoc analysis for senior leadership
