• Maintain and extend backend services that power our IoT platform • Design and implement new features related to device management, user management, alerts, and integrations • Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of existing systems • Work with messaging and event-driven architectures for device communication and data processing • Integrate devices using different communication protocols and connectivity types • Collaborate with product, hardware, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions • Debug, monitor, and optimize production systems • Contribute to code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation

• You will play a key role in building the infrastructure for our modernisation stack. • The work focuses on creating a templatised infrastructure that can be deployed across different departments with flexibility and scalability. • Designing and implementing Terraform-based infrastructure as code. • Building templatised deployments that allow for different configurations and parameters depending on the department or domain. • Working with Databricks and Unity Catalog. • Defining and enforcing policies, buckets, clusters, and networking integrations. • Enabling on-demand deployments for new domains being onboarded, and updating deployments as required.

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform). • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving system performance for high availability and resilience. • Developing and deploying AI and machine learning solutions to solve complex business challenges. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and architectures. • Writing clean, efficient, and scalable code for backend or frontend systems. • Ensuring infrastructure cost optimization and robust cloud resource management. • Supporting the deployment and maintenance of microservices in Agile environments. • Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

• Designing and building knowledge graph pipelines: ingestion, schema design, traversal, and query optimisation (Neo4j / property graphs) • Working with embeddings and LLM APIs to enrich graph-based reasoning • Integrating with real-world infrastructure • Working with IaC artifacts (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation) as data sources • Delivering working software in short cycles using Claude Code as your core development workflow

• Monitor AWS services and infrastructure for availability, performance, and alerts. • Provide Level 1–2 support for cloud-related issues. • Perform basic AWS operations such as EC2 checks, S3 access reviews, IAM updates (guided), and CloudWatch alarm investigations. • Troubleshoot incidents and escalate complex issues to senior engineers when needed. • Execute routine system checks, maintenance actions, and operational tasks. • Document steps, troubleshooting actions, and known issues for internal knowledge bases. • Work closely with senior engineers to learn best practices and operational standards. • Participate in a rotating support schedule (08:00–16:00, 4 weekdays + 1 alternating weekend day).

• You will play a key role in designing and deploying the data infrastructure supporting Kolomolo’s modernization stack • Your work will focus on building Terraform-based AWS deployments, ensuring smooth data ingestion, transformation, enrichment, and validation • Designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for AWS services • Building data processing pipelines and automating workflows for ingestion, transformation, and validation • Handling data enrichment and data integrity checks across multiple formats (e.g., Parquet, JSON, CSV) • Integrating data intake from relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and graph-based data sources (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune) • Developing and maintaining Python-based data orchestration tools and scripts • Working with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) to enable scalable deployments • Supporting continuous improvement and optimization of cloud infrastructure performance and cost

• Monitor and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure across compute, storage, database, and networking layers. • Handle Level 2–3 cloud incidents with minimal supervision. • Implement improvements to system reliability, automation, and performance. • Work with Terraform, CloudFormation, or scripting to maintain infrastructure as code. • Optimize cloud costs, resource utilization, and security posture. • Conduct root cause analyses for recurring issues and propose long-term fixes. • Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and development teams on operational enhancements. • Maintain runbooks, documentation, and operational standards.

• Define and refine AI strategies aligned with our customer's business objectives and transformation roadmap • Translate business challenges into AI-enabled opportunities and actionable initiatives • Support prioritization of AI use cases based on value, feasibility, and risk • Lead and coordinate AI-related initiatives across multiple stakeholders and functions • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and leadership teams • Facilitate alignment between business units, IT, data, and governance bodies • Contribute to the design and implementation of AI governance frameworks • Address AI-related risks including compliance, ethics, data privacy, and operational readiness • Define operating models for sustainable and scalable AI adoption • Develop business cases for AI initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis and value tracking • Support definition of KPIs and mechanisms to measure realized business value • Ensure AI initiatives remain outcome-focused and aligned with strategic goals • Plan and facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders • Communicate complex AI concepts in a clear and accessible manner to non-technical audiences • Support organizational understanding and readiness for AI-driven change

• Infrastructure Migration: Assist with the migration of services from legacy environments (EC2/on-premise) into Kubernetes (AWS EKS). • Deployment Automation: Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and Helm, enabling reliable and repeatable deployments. • Security & Compliance: Implement and review security controls aligned with best practices, including IAM least-privilege policies, encryption, and network security configurations. • Application Support: Work closely with Java developers to troubleshoot containerized applications and optimize performance of Magnolia CMS instances. • On-Call & Operational Support: Participate in a team on-call rotation to ensure the reliability and availability of production systems across multiple environments. • Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain Terraform modules to provision and manage AWS infrastructure across Development, Staging, and Production environments.
