How you’ll make an impact - Bring structure without stifling creativity. - Help designers and stakeholders see the bigger picture. - Translate organisational strategy into a cohesive experience vision. - Embed strong design practice, from service design and journey mapping to high-fidelity visuals and print. - Encourage experimentation, learning and evidence-based iteration. - Create a culture of constructive feedback that’s challenging, supportive and safe. - Help designers understand how their craft connects to the wider experience. As a people manager, you’ll: - Lead with trust, empathy and clarity. - Support designers with different strengths and ambitions. - Provide meaningful feedback, clear progression paths and space to grow. - Handle performance, conflict and delegation with confidence and care. - Build a team culture where people feel valued, heard and inspired to do great work.
