Epic Project Manager – Implementation Manager

• Lead end-to-end Epic implementation projects, including planning, execution, and post-go-live support • Define project scope, milestones, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders • Coordinate across clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure alignment and execution • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and executive reporting • Oversee system build coordination, testing phases (unit, integrated, UAT), and go-live readiness • Ensure adherence to Epic standards, governance, and best practices • Drive workflow optimization and continuous improvement initiatives • Support resource planning and vendor coordination when applicable

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience, with Epic implementation experience required
  • Proven experience leading full-cycle Epic implementations
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and IT systems
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Knowledge management and discoverability: Optimize documentation for both humans and AI retrieval with clear titles, TL;DRs, scannable structure, defined terms, and appropriate access controls-improving self-service and reducing repeat stakeholder questions. Technical Research, Analysis & Knowledge Enablement Research & Analysis: Examine technical R&D initiatives to recognize confidentiality and security risks, translating insights into robust recommendations. This requires the ability to quickly assimilate complex, unfamiliar technical information and proactively research, infer, and synthesize core concepts to ensure documentation accuracy and technical rigor.
