Construction Manager

• Oversee the initiation, planning, and supervision of low voltage and network installation projects for multifamily properties. • Manage the construction phase of projects, ensuring successful deployment of structured cabling, network hardware, and WiFi systems. • Review Contract to provide the Project Manager with project scope, timelines, and tasks for low voltage and network installations. • Conduct site surveys with Contractors to assess existing infrastructure and identify project requirements. • Coordinate with stakeholders to develop detailed installation plans, including material and resource needs. • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, BICSI) and local building codes. • Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality and integrity of installations. • Enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations at project sites.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, or related field experience preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in low voltage and network installation projects in a Multi-family environment, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Expertise in structured cabling, fiber optics, and network, Wi-Fi, and PtP radio hardware installations.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices (e.g., BICSI, NEC).
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Basic technical RF (radio frequency) knowledge.
  • Proficiency with hand tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time throughout the Unites States and flexibility to work extended hours or weekends to meet project deadlines.
  • Proficiency in the use of a computer, and software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with preference given to design-related applications such as Visio, Bluebeam Revu, Ekahau, AutoCAD.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and deadlines.

Summary The Gainwell Systems Manager is a strategic, technical, and operational leader accountable for the performance, availability, modernization, and delivery of all systems supporting the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and related enterprise services. This role drives IT service management (ITSM) maturity, ensures seamless operations, and enforces governance over system changes, incidents, and escalations. As a core member of the account leadership team, the Systems Manager owns system health, enforces escalation and ownership protocols, and ensures all systems and services are optimized, secure, and aligned with contractual and business outcomes. This role is not a traditional Project Manager or HR People Manager, but is accountable for the systems team’s technical delivery, excellence, and cross-functional coordination.
