Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, business, project management or a related field
- Experience using project management tools such as Monday, Asana, Smartsheets
- Agency or pharma experience a plus
- Highly organized with a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Role Description This role is crucial for supporting and coordinating key initiatives across the Tax organization and the broader Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) organization. As the Project Management Lead, you will drive progress on various projects including R&D tax credits, tax restructuring, and finance system modernizations. Your efforts will ensure alignment and timely reporting to senior leadership, impacting decision-making and operational excellence. - Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple concurrent cross-functional tax and accounting projects. - Facilitate project meetings, develop and maintain project plans, and track action items and milestones. - Drive alignment across stakeholder groups on project requirements, deliverables, dependencies, and timelines. - Promote consistent documentation, transparency, and communication across finance functions. - Prepare progress updates, scorecards, dashboards, and leadership reporting for the CAO and CFO. - Consolidate project status summaries, risk assessments, and KPI tracking across workstreams. - Support project governance frameworks and maintain documentation to support audit readiness. - Identify risks and help drive mitigation strategies related to tax and accounting operational projects. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, project management, or related field. - 5+ years of relevant project management, PMO, or operations experience at a Manager/Lead level. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. - Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience preparing executive-level updates. - Experience with project and delivery management tools. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse functional areas and influence without direct authority. - Experience delivering finance and accounting initiatives. - Experience within Tax, Accounting, Controllership, or broader Finance functions. • Lead projects solo and may have assistance at time from Assistant Project Manager (APM) • Lead more complex projects and manage a larger book of business. • Be integral in all decisions made regarding project process, timelines, budgets, and resources. • Understand the nature of the work performed by each functional area (who does what, when, and how long it takes) • Manage end-to-end development of projects per the business process ensuring quality from the beginning to end • Includes med/legal submission prep and submission following client guidelines • Ability to know when to deviate from process if necessary • Internal check/balance to verify acceptable quality levels before delivered internally to the Account Team • Create project status documents to provide updates across all chains of command, both internally and externally • Lead daily and weekly production meetings • Maintains PM systems of record (e.g. FinancialForce, Ziflow, CRM) • Lead ongoing process improvement initiatives • Craft initial and ongoing project milestones for Inizio Evoke's clients, and vendor/agency partners • Develop detailed project schedules and ensure all deliverables are met per the schedule • Develop detailed staffing plans and ensure all deliverables are met and stay within the budget • Monitor project & campaign budgets weekly • Lead internal, monthly reconciliation meetings • Create client budget report with finance assistance as needed • Identify and avert possible risks that impact projects • Own vendor/agency partner relationship concerning execution and deliverables • First point of contact in identifying the need for internal and external resources for existing projects • Review monthly staffing projections • Support training of assistant project managers • Manage an assistant PM, including bi-weekly 1:1 meetings
