SEO/GEO Engineer

• Own and scale Jiffy’s organic search strategy across traditional SEO and emerging generative search platforms (AI-powered search, answer engines, LLM-driven discovery). • Build and maintain a strong technical SEO foundation, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and internal linking. • Partner with engineering and product teams to ship SEO-impactful improvements and ensure organic discovery is considered early in the development process. • Design and implement programmatic SEO initiatives to capture long-tail demand at scale (categories, use cases, templates, applications). • Develop and optimize structured content and data that improves visibility in featured snippets, rich results, and generative answers. • Analyze organic performance using Search Console, analytics platforms, and custom datasets to identify growth opportunities and technical issues. • Run SEO experiments and tests (templates, schema, internal linking, page structure) and measure impact through clear hypotheses and results. • Collaborate with content, paid media, and lifecycle teams to align SEO with broader demand creation efforts. • Monitor search algorithm updates, AI search trends, and competitive movements, adapting strategy as the landscape evolves. • Clearly communicate SEO priorities, performance, and learnings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical SEO, SEO engineering, or growth engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of how search engines crawl, index, rank, and generate results.
  • Hands-on experience with technical SEO: site architecture, schema/structured data, internal linking, and performance optimization.
  • Comfortable working with data: Google Search Console, analytics tools, and spreadsheets or SQL.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with engineers and translate SEO needs into technical requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a test-and-learn mindset.
