The Role: We are seeking College Admissions Counselors who are passionate about education and mentorship. In this role, you will provide individualized guidance to students and families throughout the admissions process — from building strategic college lists, to crafting standout applications, to advising on extracurricular and academic development. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping students gain admission into top universities. As a College Counselor, you will be expected to: - Guide students in creating strong, balanced college lists tailored to their interests, strengths, and goals. - Advise on academic planning, extracurricular pursuits, and summer opportunities to strengthen student profiles. - Provide strategic support in application planning, including timelines, essays, and supplemental materials. - Conduct mock interviews and prepare students for admissions conversations. - Stay up to date on admissions trends, university requirements, and best practices. - Collaborate with other internal team members to ensure student success. • Plan for postsecondary options (enroll in education, enlist in military option, employ in work force) • Apply academic achievement strategies • Manage emotions and apply interpersonal skill • Focuses students and families on college and career readiness; • Meets quarterly with all students on caseload to review graduation plan and post-secondary options; • Delivers classroom instruction based on student success standards; • Reviews transcripts and other academic documentation for new and returning students; • Works collaboratively with teaching staff to develop a four (4) year graduation plan and audits student schedules for candidacy for graduation as determined by school and state policies; • Assist students in course placement including recommendations on Advanced Placement (AP) and pathways to challenge and enrich student learning opportunities; • Analyzes student data and develops data-driven programs for intervention action plans; • Provides short-term counseling to students and referrals for long-term support, as necessary; • Provides a support system that strengthens the efforts of teachers, staff, and parents; • Supports standardized testing program; parent education; and staff development; • May advocate for students at individual education plan meetings and other student-focused meetings; • Focuses students and families on goal setting and academic planning for college and career readiness; • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and/or as required by the school.

• Assists in planning, monitoring, and supporting the delivery of the Comprehensive School Counseling Program’s components to meet student academic, career, and social-emotional needs; • Coordinates and delivers ongoing training for counselors, ensuring alignment with best practices, state standards, and departmental goals; • Collects, analyzes and reports counseling program data to guide interventions, measure outcomes, and support decision-making; • Oversees accurate transcription of educational records including grades, credits and transfers in compliance with district policy, state regulations, and FERPA; • Acts as liaison between counseling staff, administration, families and community partners to promote student success; • Assists with scheduling, workload distribution, budgeting and resource allocation for counseling activities; • Maintains current knowledge of American School Counselors Association Ethical Standards and model professional conduct at all times

• Manage pre-qualified client appointments provided by the customer advisor, via video conference or by phone. • Understand prospects' needs and propose a tailored offer. • Assist clients in preparing their funding applications (CPF, France Travail, etc.). • Close sales by providing consultative advice and personalized follow-up.
