Senior ServiceNow Developer

General Dynamics Information Technology

• Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and BMC Remedy • Build and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform • Create and manage data migration processes from Remedy to ServiceNow • Create custom scripts, including Business Rules and Script Includes • Perform administrative tasks, such as user and role management • Customize user interfaces, forms, and workflows • Provide end-user support and troubleshooting • Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
  • Experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications and modules, especially ITSM
  • Experience with integration methods like SOAP, REST, and web services
  • Scripting skill with at least one language – preferably JavaScript
  • Exposure to ServiceNow's data management tools such as Import Sets, Transform Maps, and CMDB
  • Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective technical solutions
  • Understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle
  • Ability to identify, understand, document, and create functionality aligning with customer value streams
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to identify and learn new technologies quickly
  • Familiarity with BMC Remedy and/or Helix development and administration preferred
