• Overall performance and delivery of defined scope(s) of work as indicated by customer satisfaction, quality of products and/or services provided, level of profitability attained, and other such measures as may be designated. • Serving as primary customer contact and manages overall company customer interface relationships for defined scope(s) of work to ensure responsiveness to customer needs and effective professional conduct. • Providing functional and technical guidance to consulting staff and management. • Will also perform as a project lead on advanced specialized projects or in resolution of technical problems that would critically impact performance, schedule or cost. • Develops project schedules and documentation; defines and assigns work to consultants assigned to Project; monitors and controls work in progress for technical adequacy; and provides active assistance to meet schedules or resolve complex technical or customer requirements. • Evaluates information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. • Serves as the conduit between stakeholders (internal and external customers) and the project implementation team through which requirements flow. • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. • Gathers requirements through the use of interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis. • Ensures timely Project Communication and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination and storage of project information – prepares project status reports and keeps management, business clients and others informed of project status and related issues. • Plans for Resource Management: acquires and manages team resource needs making the most effective use of people involved with the project – this entails day-to-day team management, team communication, identifying and leveraging strong skills while developing others. • Project administration including forecasting setup and tracking, project financials, time/expense reconciliation and enforcement of standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or project management.
  • 3-5 years proven experience in program or project management leading clients and team members through large complex system implementation and integrations.
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment such as management consulting.
  • Client interfacing responsibilities in a management consulting setting demonstrating strong client relationship skills-ability to partner with technical as well as project leaders from client organizations to drive overall solution, manage issues/risks/dependencies and facilitate schedule/scope conversations.
  • Experience managing the scope of projects-budgetary responsibilities highly preferred.
  • An advanced level of proficiency requires broad knowledge and experience to complex long-term projects.
  • Strong people management skills-ability to provide direction/leadership to others as a project lead and/or a functional/technical specialist.
  • Strong communication, presentation skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, short term and long-term planning skills.

The Grantee Specialist Manager (GSM) MUST work remotely and reside in AZ, CA, or NV. JOB SUMMARY: The Grantee Specialist Manager (GSM) has a strong program design and management background to support our Head Start Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) team in Region IX. The Grantee Specialist Manager (GSM) implements a comprehensive system of quality assurance for training and technical assistance to grant recipients and contract deliverables related to the work of Grantee Specialists (GS).  The GSM works closely with the Regional Training & Technical Assistance Coordinator (RTTAC) and the Regional /Area Office leadership on short, intermediate, and long-term planning in accordance with Office of Head Start (OHS) priorities.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Implement a comprehensive system of quality assurance for TTA to HS/EHS recipients and contract deliverables related to the work of Grantee Specialists (GS).  - Provides effective and timely ongoing supervision and coaching to GS to ensure the provision of high-quality training and technical assistance. - Develops and implements professional development for GS to increase their capability to deliver TA that increases program capacity, supports grant recipients in developing strong management systems, strengthens grant recipients corrective action efforts and data aggregation and analysis.  - Review recipient TTA reports for accuracy and ensure TTA reports are submitted by the due dates outlined in the Schedule of Deliverables. - Communicates with Regional/Area Office staff to ensure coordinated support, messaging, and prioritization of technical assistance to grant recipients with monitoring findings, management system concerns, under-enrollment and other risk factors identified by the Regional or Area Office. - Conducts at least two field observations of the GS in each performance period to assess the quality of TTA provided and determine professional development needs as described in the Schedule of Deliverables. - Implement a process for using, reporting and presenting TTA data to inform and improve the quality and responsiveness of grant specialists TTA services and improve coordination with state, regional and national priorities, and other early childhood TTA systems, as directed by the region. - Review and approve Monthly Travel Plans for assigned GS - Participate in national, regional, and state work groups and meetings as directed by OHS COR - Provides direct TTA to grant recipients, as requested by the Regional or Area Office. - Supports emerging OHS initiatives and priorities.

POSITION SUMMARY: The portfolio resource manager works in close coordination with the Portfolio Integration Manager, the Director, SMR Product Development and Commercial Project Directors, providing processes, data, and tools to enable management of multiple project’s resource loading during project planning, schedule development and execution. This position is specifically responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive resource management program that will for integrate resource demands from internal and external projects, both active and planned, identify and resolve issues, and support corporate-level and performing organization resource management efforts to enable project success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and document a comprehensive and scalable resource management program for NuScale portfolio of projects, the output of which will include resource plans and periodic reporting. - Support Project Directors and Project Managers during the project planning and execution phases to understand current portfolio resource loading and communicate project resource demands to the organization. - Translate high-level potential future projects and change orders into forward looking resource demand forecasts to inform the organization. - Develop tools and standards to provide visual representation of resource needs by organization, discipline, skills, etc. Provide training to work planning and execution leads and project controls teams. - Issue periodic portfolio reporting and resource forecasting based on inputs from human resources, work planning and execution leads, and project teams. - Lead periodic reviews of resource status (supply vs demand) by functional area.
