Director of Sales – Motive Power

SOLV4EX Group of Companies

• Drive revenue and margin growth for Lead and Lithium batteries in the US market • Build, listen and maintain strong relationships and grow business with existing national and strategic clients, while continually prospecting and selling to new potential clients in all target markets. • Achieve established profit targets through revenue growth, expense control, and margin management. • Complete accurate and on-time reporting of key performance metrics as established for sales and prospecting activity, through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas and participation and leadership of Discover’s CRM software. • Liaise with corporate leadership and team on best practices, customer wins, new opportunities, and competitive developments. • Collaborate with the executive team to develop short- and long-term strategic plans, including the preparation of annual business plans. • Create product segmentation strategies as needed to maximize opportunities across sales channels. • Conduct sales forecasts and monthly status reports. • Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company products and services. • Conduct sales training and provide ongoing sales support as required.

Job Requirements

  • University or college degree in relevant field, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • 7 - 10 years of proven B2B sales experience in monobloc batteries, motive power, or a related industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of Lead-acid and Lithium battery technologies.
  • Track record of new business development (“hunter” profile).
  • Experience selling to OEMs, national accounts, and distribution partners.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport.
