The High School English Teacher is a highly qualified, state certified educator responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. ICF seeks a Disaster Recovery Training and Subject-Matter Expert to be an integral member of our multidisciplinary team in providing training, developing training materials, and contributing to product development and capacity building efforts for the U.S. Housing and Urban Development as part of the Community Compass Technical Assistance program. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning experiences that build the capacity of recipients of Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds. This role specializes in developing and delivering trainings and facilitating learning engagements, combining deep subject matter expertise in disaster recovery programs with strong instructional design and facilitation skills. We are seeking a proactive team player who will be responsible for developing training materials and products, conducting trainings (both virtual and in-person) and who can support a range of technical assistance engagements, providing direct guidance to grantees through a variety of learning environments. The person in this role will have a track record in providing training, utilizing a variety of technology platforms, conducting in-person training and requires strong knowledge of HUD disaster recovery program activities. This position may also support additional technical assistance engagements related to housing and community development, cross-cutting requirements for federal funding, and/or resilience and hazard mitigation work.
