• Be hands-on and involved in all aspects of the product development process, from brainstorming, prototyping, and development all the way through to feature launch • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to find ways to ship minimum viable product features, while striving for the best user experience possible • Craft interactive prototypes and specs that communicate design solutions to engineering and product owners • Confidently articulate design solutions to design leadership, product owners, engineering leads and stakeholders • Participate in design reviews, critiques, brainstorm sessions, provide and receive insightful and actionable feedback • Effectively utilize, extend, and maintain a shared library of components • Contribute to strategic planning to connect design work with broader product goals
Job Requirements
- Passion for turning complex problems into simple and user-centered experiences
- 3+ years of experience designing UX/UI and shipping products for commercial clients
- 2+ years of experience developing, maintaining, and extending design systems
- A deep understanding of UX and UI best practices, principles, and patterns
- Excellent visual design skills and an advanced understanding of visual solutions for all screen sizes, demonstrated in a well-crafted portfolio
- Figma expertise including auto layout, variants, variables, and libraries
- Experience conducting user research and collaboration sessions
- Experience collaborating across disciplines (design, product, engineering, QA) to support a new product/feature to launch
- Strong communication and self-management skills
- Result-driven mindset, process-driven approach
- Bonus points: Experience designing for AI/LLM-powered SaaS products, legal industry experience, startup experience.
