Job Description

Project Manager (Cycle Hire) - Break Something

Break Something

About Break Something Break Something is a full-service digital and streaming-era media firm. We run high-performing advertising programs across platforms — combining strategy, creative, production, and media buying with fast execution and rigorous attention to detail. The Role We’re hiring a Project Manager to support 1–2 of our largest clients and help execute complex advertising campaigns. This role is the operational hub — managing approvals, coordinating timelines with our digital ads team, maintaining sequencing schedules, and helping coordinate production and post-production workflows. If you’re hyper-organized, detail-obsessed, and energized by keeping a lot of moving parts on track, you’ll do great here. Responsibilities - Own day-to-day project management for 1–2 major client accounts across creative, media, and production workstreams - Manage multiple approval chains — tracking feedback, routing revisions, and documenting final sign-offs - Coordinate with our digital ads team on ad placements, specs, trafficking timelines, and launch readiness - Oversee ad sequencing schedules (what runs when, where, and in what order) and ensure the correct versions go live - Maintain clean systems for file organization, naming conventions, version control, and asset delivery - Help coordinate ad shoots (scheduling, stakeholders, shot lists, deliverables) and keep post-production timelines on track - Run status check-ins, flag risks early, and keep teams aligned on deadlines and next steps

Job Requirements

  • Preferred: at least one full cycle of campaign experience (electoral, advocacy, or political advertising experience counts)
  • Demonstrated project management skill — building timelines, managing dependencies, and pushing work to completion
  • Excellent attention to detail and comfort juggling multiple parallel projects
  • Strong written communication and follow-through
  • Experience working with creative teams, media teams, and/or production workflows is a plus

Benefits

  • Compensation and Term
  • This is a cycle hire role running through December 31, 2026. Continuation may be considered based on need, but is not guaranteed.
  • Salary: $66,001 – $73,000.
  • Benefits
  • This position is eligible for inclusion in our bargaining unit and is salaried with competitive benefits and paid time off
  • 100% employer-paid premiums for platinum-level medical plan on a national health care network
  • 100% employer-paid vision and dental insurance
  • 401(k) with 5% employer match and immediate vesting
  • 12 paid holidays, 20 days of paid time off, sick leave, and bereavement leave
  • Summer and/or Winter Fridays (cycle dependent)
  • Paid parental and medical leave at 100% of your salary
  • Company issued Mac laptops
  • Regular stipends and/or reimbursement for: Cell phone service, wellness, home office, meals and more
  • How to Apply
  • Please submit a resume and a short note (a few paragraphs is fine) covering your relevant campaign/advertising experience and an example of a detail-heavy project you’ve managed with multiple stakeholders and approvals.
  • Equal Opportunity
  • Break Something is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
