We're looking for a detail-oriented Make Ready Coordinator to manage the utility pole make-ready process from field data collection through permitting, approvals, and construction readiness. This role partners closely with engineering, construction, utilities, and vendors to ensure projects move forward safely, compliantly, and on schedule. If you thrive in a fast-paced infrastructure environment and love keeping complex projects on track, this is your opportunity to make a real impact. --- What You'll Do · Manage the make-ready process for aerial and underground fiber infrastructure · Coordinate vendors handling field data collection and pole attachment applications · Track permitting, approvals, and make-ready work across multiple utilities and jurisdictions · Review field data using GIS and mapping platforms (ArcGIS, Google Earth, etc.) · Work directly with utility companies to schedule pole replacements, transfers, and adjustments · Review and validate pole attachment costs to align with project budgets · Participate in joint-use meetings to resolve conflicts and drive milestone progress · Partner with OSP Engineers, Project Managers, and Construction teams to ensure construction readiness · Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within internal systems · Ensure compliance with NESC, OSHA, and utility regulations --- What You Bring · High school diploma · Minimum 4 years of experience in telecommunications, fiber deployment, utility coordination, or infrastructure project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience · Working knowledge of outside plant (OSP) design and make-ready processes · Experience with GIS platforms such as ESRI, QGIS, or ArcGIS · Strong organizational and analytical skills · Clear written and verbal communication skills · Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally Preferred: Experience working directly with pole-owning utilities, familiarity with SPANS or SPIDA, knowledge of permitting and right-of-way coordination, and understanding of fiber construction workflows. --- What Makes You Successful Here · Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills · Attention to detail and problem-solving ability · Comfort managing multiple projects and deadlines · Adaptability in fast-moving deployment environments --- Work Environment This is a remote position (Eastern or Central time zone preferred) with occasional travel to Ohio or Texas offices.
