Job Description

Recruiter

SLD Ecommerce

Role Description You’ve been a recruiter for a couple of years, and you love talking to people, but you’re buried in an HR department, processing applications for roles you don't care about, hitting metrics that don't matter, and never seeing the impact of the people you bring in. You became a machine, not a builder you initially wanted to be. I want you to become a builder again. We are a DTC nutraceutical brand that did over $12M in our first year. We're on pace to hit $50M this year. We're growing fast, and we need someone to own recruiting and help us build the team that takes us there. This role reports directly to the founder. No layers. No bureaucracy. You'll have a seat at the table and a direct line to the person making decisions. You won't be hiring for boring back-office roles. You'll be building our creative engine—the video editors, designers, and creative strategists who drive the ads that drive the revenue. These are hard-to-find roles that require real headhunting, not just posting jobs and waiting. You'll own the full recruiting function. Over time, you'll build a team beneath you. If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact at a company that's actually going somewhere—keep reading. Qualifications - 2+ years recruiting experience in E-commerce roles - E-commerce or DTC industry experience - Incredibly strong communicator & very well spoken with team & clients - Master at building rapport & taking a genuine interest in people - Proven headhunting experience, has sourced and closed passive candidates, not just processed inbound - Great with LinkedIn outreach - Organized, can manage multiple pipelines and candidates simultaneously - Extensive experience hiring creative (editors, strategists, copywriters) is a bonus Requirements - You are not well-spoken - You cannot listen to others - You don’t know how to build rapport - You have never hired someone before - You don’t understand E-commerce - You accept mediocrity - You don’t like a high-operating environment - You shy away from problems - You are not a team player Benefits - $40,000–$60,000/year base - Performance bonuses up to 40% of annual base - tied to hiring quality and speed - Paid annual leave: 14 calendar days - Fully remote - Paid sick days How to Apply If this sounds like you, apply now using the form attached below.
