Role Description The Functional Deployment Site practitioner will support the full lifecycle of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system implementation across multiple medical centers. - Perform/organize discovery efforts at various hospitals & clinics related to workflows, clinical services, SOPs, shared services, & research information. - Conduct post-discovery analysis to inform functional & clinical scope and requirements. - Build an understanding of the client's list of standard capabilities, workflows, and services to perform meaningful discovery and gap analysis. - Support building recommendations for addressing capability gaps. - Own relationships with relevant clinical and functional stakeholders. - Ensure functional readiness for the transition to a new EHR. - Act as a bridge between technical and clinical teams, translating requirements and changes for deployment sites. - Collaborate closely with Change Management (CM) and End User Engagement & Adoption (EUEA) teams to provide clinical guidance. - Support key deployment activities such as User Readiness Assessments (URA), data collection and build, testing, training, and adoption events. - Document lessons learned throughout the deployment process to inform and improve future implementations. - Semi-frequent travel expected to hospitals and clinics in various geographies. - Significant client interaction is expected. Qualifications - Previous hospital/clinic assessment experience. - Familiarity with clinical information systems. - Familiarity with inpatient & outpatient services. - Previous Oracle EHR (or similar vendors) experience is preferred.
