Senior Technical Advisor – Technology-Enabled Counterterrorism Investigations

• Deliver instructor-led training, workshops, and mentoring to partner nation investigators, cybercrime units, intelligence personnel, and prosecutors. • Advise counterparts on technology-enabled counterterrorism and counter radicalization investigations involving gaming platforms, social media, encrypted communications, and online extremist networks. • Provide technical guidance on digital evidence collection, preservation, chain of custody, and case development. • Mentor investigators on OSINT, social media exploitation, network analysis, and intelligence-led investigations. • Support the operational application of AI-enabled analytical tools, threat intelligence platforms, and digital analytics to strengthen investigative capabilities. • Assist in developing investigative SOPs, training materials, tabletop exercises, and practical job aids. • Support the establishment of multi-agency investigative coordination mechanisms and facilitate investigator-prosecutor collaboration. • Contribute to technical assessments, after-action reviews, and recommendations for institutional strengthening.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Law, National Security, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience supporting counterterrorism, cybercrime, intelligence, national security, or technology-enabled criminal investigations.
- Demonstrated experience investigating terrorist organizations, violent extremist networks, or cyber-enabled criminal activity.
- Experience delivering international technical assistance, training, mentoring, or institutional capacity-building programs.
- Practical experience with digital evidence, OSINT, social media investigations, cyber investigations, or technology-enabled investigative methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
