The Planet Group

Job Description: Launch Consulting is an AI‑first digital transformation consultancy and the digital consulting engine at the heart of The Planet Group. We help enterprise and Fortune‑level organizations solve complex business problems and modernize how they operate through data, software, and AI. We meet clients where they are on their transformation continuum—providing end‑to‑end support across advisory and strategy, design, build, implementation, managed services, and role‑based consulting. Our work spans AI initiatives, cloud modernization, data platforms, software engineering, and enterprise transformation programs that drive real business outcomes. What differentiates Launch is the rare combination of deep industry and domain expertise with a robust global delivery model. Unlike smaller firms, we bring scale and breadth. Unlike large systems integrators, we remain agile, flexible, and able to move fast— helping clients make bold moves toward their future state. Launch partners with organizations that are entering new markets, modernizing platforms, adopting AI, or rethinking how technology enables their business. We bring the experts, craftsmanship, and momentum to help our clients execute with confidence and create lasting value. The Role: As an Account Executive, you’ll lead strategic sales pursuits with organizations that are ready to modernize how they operate, innovate, and serve their customers. This is a consultative, enterprise‑level sales role focused on long‑term partnerships and meaningful outcomes—not transactional deals. You’ll work closely with senior client stakeholders and Launch delivery leaders to shape and close engagements spanning AI, data, product, and digital transformation. Primary Responsibilities: - Own and drive new logo and expansion opportunities within enterprise and upper‑mid‑market accounts - Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles focused on business outcomes and transformation roadmaps - Partner with Launch Studios and delivery teams to craft client‑specific solutions - Position Launch as a trusted transformation partner, not a point‑solution vendor - Develop account strategies that align client goals with Launch’s capabilities across data, AI, and digital - Maintain strong pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and deal hygiene Who You Are: You are a strategic, consultative seller who thrives in complex environments and enjoys helping enterprise clients navigate meaningful transformation. You build credibility quickly, lead with insight, and are comfortable guiding senior leaders through high‑impact decisions. You Bring: - Proven experience selling consulting and professional services in complex, enterprise environments - Comfort engaging VP‑ and C‑level executives on strategic, transformation‑driven initiatives - Strong discovery, storytelling, and executive‑level communication skills - The ability to translate business challenges into data‑, AI‑, and technology‑enabled outcomes - A hunter mindset, with a track record of building trusted relationships and driving new logo growth - An existing or developing executive‑level network that helps accelerate deal cycles and expand account reach - Experience navigating multi‑stakeholder, enterprise sales cycles across technical, business, and economic buyers - A collaborative approach to expanding business through strategic partners and ecosystem relationships - Confidence selling across multiple industries and solution areas, while maintaining a client‑first, outcome‑oriented mindset - The ability to operate independently while partnering closely with internal delivery, studio, and leadership teams - Motivation driven by long‑term partnerships, growth, and measurable client impact—not transactional wins Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) - 5–10+ years of experience selling consulting, IT solutions, or professional services - Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding quota in a consultative, enterprise sales environment - Proven ability to identify, engage, and close enterprise‑level, multi‑service engagements - Experience selling solutions across areas such as AI, data, cloud, software engineering, or digital transformation preferred Compensation and Benefits: As an employee at Launch, you will grow your skills and experience through a variety of exciting project work (across industries and technologies) with some of the top companies in the world! Our employees receive full benefits—medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and matched 401k. We also have an uncapped, take-what-you-need PTO policy. The base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $190,000 plus variable compensation. Don’t Be Shy! Our Corporate Recruiting team is excited to talk about our open positions and the opportunities to join the Launch team.
