Job Description: The Channel Transformation Manager plays a key role in driving worldwide channel sales growth for the HPE Networking Business Unit. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Channel Transformation, this role focuses on designing and executing scalable channel strategies, programs, and operating models that improve productivity, consistency, and sales outcomes. This position partners closely with Channel Sales, Channel Technology Acceleration, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to deliver repeatable go-to-market programs, enablement, and operational excellence across all geographies. Core Responsibilities: Channel Strategy & Transformation - Develop and execute channel transformation strategies that drive sales growth, productivity, and operational efficiency. - Create an end-to-end framework, operating model, and governance to ensure channel programs are scalable, repeatable, and globally consistent, with appropriate local flexibility. - Ensure Networking Partner Account Managers (PAMs) Distribution Business Managers (DBMs) are enabled to spend the majority of their time with partners driving business results. Program & Project Management - Lead end-to-end program management for global channel initiatives, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management. - Manage the full lifecycle of channel sales plays and offers, from concept through launch and post-launch review. - Conduct readiness assessments, proactively identify risks, remove execution barriers, and escalate issues with mitigation plans. - Perform post-launch reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration - Lead and influence cross-functional project teams to deliver channel programs and offers aligned with business priorities. - Coordinate dependent deliverables across Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Learning & Development, and Sales to ensure launch readiness. - Facilitate advisory councils with internal stakeholders and channel partners to validate strategies, gather feedback, and drive adoption. Analytics, Reporting & Performance Management - Define, manage, and evolve KPIs and dashboards to track program performance and channel execution. - Analyze channel business trends and performance data to identify growth opportunities and improvement areas. - Ensure operating metrics and performance standards are consistently applied and reflected in executive reporting. Business Process & Operational Improvement - Design, document, and optimize business processes to support efficient development, release, and execution of channel programs. - Identify friction points and gaps across channel operations and lead initiatives to improve execution. - Drive productivity improvements through the adoption of AI tools and modern practices for internal teams and partners. Channel Coverage & Segmentation - Develop and manage channel segmentation and coverage models to maximize channel capacity and effectiveness. - Identify growth opportunities through new partner recruitment and improved partner engagement strategies. - Ensure proper coverage across regions and partner types to support global and local business objectives. Communications & Enablement - Develop and execute joint communication plans to promote channel programs and sales plays internally and externally. - Coordinate training requirements and delivery schedules with Learning & Development and Marketing teams. - Support global sales play communications, contests, and leaderboards to drive awareness and engagement.
