EG&R Engineering PC is a fast-growing engineering and design-build firm located in Somerset, NJ. EG&R provides services to support complex power distribution and electrical infrastructure projects for a variety of markets including government, electrical utilities, waste to energy, transportation, electrical contractors, and A/E firms. EG&R is seeking a Project Manager - Electrical who is highly organized, proactive, and ready to contribute to the continued success of EG&R Engineering PC. The Project Manager will play a key role in managing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects by coordinating internal teams, maintaining strong communication with clients, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. This position will work closely with Lead Engineers and project teams to support successful project execution. Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee EPC engineering projects from initiation through completion. - Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to meet client - expectations. - Coordinate internal project teams including engineers, designers, and support staff. - Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, clients, and internal teams. - Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets. - Identify potential risks or delays and implement strategies to mitigate project - impacts. - Organize and lead project meetings, documenting action items and ensuring follow- - up. - Track project budgets, resource allocation, and overall project performance. - Prepare project status reports and communicate updates to management and - clients. - Ensure projects meet quality standards and client requirements. - Support proposal development and project planning efforts when required. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within engineering, EPC, infrastructure, or power/utility related industries. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. - Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. - Familiarity with project management tools and scheduling software (MS Project - and/or P6). - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams. - Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and maintain project momentum. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining accountability for project outcomes.
