Role Description A career as a Network Infrastructure/Task Order Implementation Lead at GDIT means owning your opportunity to help support and advance our customer’s mission. At GDIT, a Network Infrastructure/Task Order Implementation Lead provides operational leadership and oversight for the IT modernization effort during planning, design, and implementation phases for multiple Air Force and Space Force bases globally. The Task Order Implementation Lead will remotely oversee the implementation effort at these bases and will have the responsibility to provide management, schedule, direction, administration, and quality assurance in its execution. The Network Infrastructure/Task Order Implementation Lead is required to provide overall leadership and guidance for the site implementation personnel assigned to the TO, including: - Assigning task implementation resources - Assessing progress and performance - Interfacing with customer stakeholders Primary Responsibilities: - Directs, coordinates, and oversees overall implementation functions for all sites. - Acts as the key point of contact for base engagements, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations. - Proactively manages customer relationships, addressing feedback and resolving issues in a timely manner. - Evaluates overall implementation effort to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks at site including technical work, financial and business development activities. - Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate supervisors, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation. - Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits. - Supports the profitability and revenue growth of assigned program control accounts. - Develops/reviews plans, schedules, consulting agreements, and other program documents. - Monitors sub-contractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables and finances for assigned control accounts. - Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position.
