Role Description As Director, Native Services, you will play a key leadership role in advancing strategic priorities that strengthen our mission and long-term impact across Native communities. Responsibilities - Strengthening Local Club Organizations - Serve as a trusted advisor to Native Club organizations, providing consultation that strengthens leadership, operations, and long-term sustainability. - Partner with Tribal leaders, Boards, and CEOs to build strong governance, deepen relationships, and enhance organizational effectiveness. - Lead onboarding experiences for new CEOs, Board Chairs, and Tribal leaders to ensure alignment and early success. - Coordinate cross-functional support from BGCA teams to meet the evolving needs of local organizations. - Advancing Strategy and Execution - Partner with the National Vice President, Native Services to drive strategic priorities aligned with Future Ready for Collective Impact. - Translate strategy into clear, actionable plans that support measurable outcomes across Native communities. - Monitor progress against goals, grant deliverables, and key performance metrics, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement. - Building Systems and Operational Excellence - Strengthen the infrastructure of the Native Services team by improving workflows, tools, and internal collaboration. - Assess team capacity and align resources to ensure effective execution of priorities. - Support onboarding, team development, and a strong, connected team culture. - Driving Growth and Community Impact - Support Native Club organizations in expanding reach, increasing membership, and improving youth outcomes. - Partner with field leaders to develop and implement plans that grow average daily attendance and deepen program impact. - Analyze trends and data to inform strategies that build sustainable growth across Native communities. - Strengthening Partnerships and Field Engagement - Promote participation in Area Councils, conferences, and training to strengthen connection and shared learning. - Support crisis response efforts in partnership with leadership, ensuring Clubs are prepared and supported. - Ensure alignment with BGCA membership requirements and operating standards. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - 7+ years of experience in nonprofit leadership, youth development, or Club operations. - Experience working with Tribal Nations or Native communities strongly preferred. - Background in organizational development, consulting, or capacity-building environments. - Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate vision into execution. - Skilled at building trust and influencing across diverse stakeholders without direct authority. - Effective communicator, comfortable engaging with executive leaders and community partners. - Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - High level of integrity, sound judgment, and accountability. - Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and digital tools. Compensation The salary range for this role is $96,000 to $108,000. BGCA takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training and experience, as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. Position Summary: This influential leader is responsible for identifying, implementing, and executing strategic development projects and opportunities in coordination with Destination Development [DD] and Royal Caribbean Group [RCG] Leadership. You would be accountable for securing external approval of the development projects on behalf of RCG, as well as, internal RCG approvals. You would oversee the relationship of a subset of our existing JV partners, plan and execute Board of Directors meetings, and ensure the entities maintain RCG guest experience standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial, as you would be tasked with (1) liaising with colleagues from multiple departments and among varying levels of management across the Company to track down key information needed to advance projects, (2) writing memos and preparing executive presentations summarizing information, and (3) leading presentations and negotiations with global corporate and country leaders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop commercial and other business strategies to meet the strategic port development needs of RCG. The Director, in coordination with DD Leadership, will support the execution of commercial strategies by managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across the geographical region. The Director will interact with port authorities, trade associations, and other brands in the industry regarding port development issues. Strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and business vision are paramount skills to success in this role.
