The Director, People Partnerships leads the People Business Partner (HRBP) function, serving as a trusted advisor on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, employee experience and company culture. This role is accountable for building manager capability, guiding organizational change, and driving the successful adoption and scale of programs and initiatives designed to support MCG’s people strategy and culture. This role serves as a people-centric coach to MCG’s leaders, an escalated advisor for complex employee relations issues, and the operational leader for HRBP consistency and delivery. You Will: - Lead, coach and scale a team of People Business Partners to deliver proactive HR partnership across the business (talent planning, performance, compensation, engagement, retention). - Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, translating business goals into workforce plans and impactful people outcomes. - Own complex employee relations cases, investigations and risk mitigation, ensuring timely, fair resolution and legal compliance. - Drive talent management programs, succession planning, leadership development, talent management and retention strategies. - Lead organizational design and change management for restructures, integrations, or new ways of working. - Partner with Centers of Excellence within the People Team to identify trends, recommend interventions, and develop solutions that improve MCG’s people programs and business results. - Build manager capability through coaching, advising on performance conversations, career discussions and inclusive leadership. - Optimize People processes and tools; lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives across the HRBP function - Serve as HR for HR and other client groups as necessary. - Act as a visible champion for MCG's culture, representing and building our values into talent and people practices. What We're Looking For: - Bachelor’s degree (Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology or related). - 10+ years HR experience with at least 5 years in HR Business Partnership or organizational development. - Demonstrated leadership experience managing HRBP teams and coaching senior leaders. - Proven experience handling complex employee relations and change initiatives. - Strong data literacy — experience partnering using people analytics to drive decisions. - Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills. - Experience with enterprise HRIS, Tableau/Power BI, and modern HR case management tools. - Experience in fast-growing or matrixed organizations and remote team leadership. - Experience with collaborative work management tools (such as Atlassian), HR systems & solutions (such as Lattice, Pequity, Greenhouse) Licensure/Certifications/Registrations/Permits:     - HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred. Job Requirements
