Position Summary The Demand Planning & Forecasting Analyst supports the development, analysis, and maintenance of demand forecasts within our SIOP framework. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data to generate insights that guide cross-functional decision-making. Core Responsibilities - Support the monthly demand planning cycle within the SIOP process - Build and update demand forecasts using Excel-based forecasting models and historical data - Incorporate relevant trends, seasonality, and lifecycle indicators - Document key assumptions and participate in review discussions - Track and report forecast accuracy metrics - Maintain accuracy dashboards and assist in routine performance reporting - Conduct basic root-cause analysis to identify accuracy drivers - Improve visibility of demand assumptions and variances - Delivery assigned SIOP tasks and analytical reports on time - Provide item-level inventory reports - Flag slow-moving, excess, or at-risk items - Assist in linking demand signals to inventory planning - Work with Sales, Product Management, and Commercial teams - Partner with Finance to provide variance explanations - Maintain and enhance Excel-based forecasting tools - Support dashboards and KPIs for SIOP visibility - Assist in data cleanup and quality improvement - Participate in process improvement initiatives - Help communicate gaps or risks in the demand plan Position Objectives: - Uses effective questioning techniques; demonstrates effective two-way dialogue and negotiation skills - Develops basic understanding of company products - Responsive and professional to all levels internally and externally - Completes individual and/or department objectives and goals assigned by leadership and meets agreed upon deadlines - Provides quality service to the Company’s internal and external customers - Effectively schedules and manages resources to meet department goals - Adheres to NeoGenomics’ core values, safety and HR and Compliance policies and procedures Experience, Education, and Qualifications: - 2+ years of relevant experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytic required - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Analytics, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience required - Demonstrate proficiency in Excel - Understand forecast metrics - Support S&OP/SIOP processes - Translate data for non-technical audiences - Utilize Tableau tools - Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time - Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
