Job Description

Corporate Counsel

Platform Science

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, professional services agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, distribution and marketing arrangements, and marketplace-related contracts • Support sales and business teams by providing timely, practical legal guidance on standard commercial issues • Manage contract processes from intake through execution, including redlines, approvals, and coordination with internal stakeholders • Identify issues for escalation to senior legal team members when appropriate • Assist with maintaining and updating contract templates, clause libraries, and internal guidance • Support cross-functional teams, including Sales, PX, Product, Finance, and Operations on routine legal matters • Help ensure compliance with internal policies and basic privacy and data protection requirements

Job Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Three to five (3–5) years of legal experience, preferably a mix of law firm and in-house experience at a technology or SaaS company
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise sales contracts, professional services agreements, software licensing, and vendor contracts
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management processes and working from standard templates and playbooks
  • Strong drafting and issue-spotting skills, with the ability to handle repetitive and detail-oriented work efficiently
  • Practical, business-friendly mindset and willingness to take direction and feedback
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
