Business Analytics Advisor - Remote

Join the Provider Experience & Operations (PX&O) Health and Enablement team and help turn complex data into clear, practical insight. In this role, you will support and maintain current data jobs, elevate documentation and coding practices, and develop dashboards and analytics that explain performance trends by partnering with stakeholders to translate business requirements into insight. Responsibilities - Deliver dashboards, scorecards, and analyses that explain performance drivers and support better operational decisions. - Partner with stakeholders across planning and operations to translate questions into clear metrics, trusted definitions, and usable data products. - Build and improve data models and visual stories (for example, in Tableau) that help leaders act quickly and confidently. - Develop and enhance analytic solutions using tools such as Databricks, SQL, Python, and Alteryx, while staying curious about new technologies. - Strengthen end-to-end data reliability by understanding upstream data jobs and controls (ETL/SSIS/schedulers) and troubleshooting issues to root cause. - Present insights and recommendations in a simple, executive-ready way—highlighting what changed, why it changed, and what to do next. - Coach and support other analysts by sharing best practices, reviewing work, and contributing to a centralized knowledge base. - Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve team coverage through automation, standardization, and continuous improvement. Qualifications - Required - High School Diploma or G.E.D. - 3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data reporting roles. - Strong SQL skills, including querying across large datasets and validating results. - Hands-on experience in Databricks (or a similar platform) to build, run, or support data pipelines and analysis. - Experience building data visualizations and telling a clear data story (for example, using Tableau or similar tools). - Ability to work across teams, communicate simply, and drive work from question to insight to action. Qualifications - Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field. - Experience with data modeling, forecasting, or predictive / prescriptive analytics. - Alteryx experience. - Familiarity with on-prem SQL Server and/or Oracle environments, including ETL/SSIS processes and job schedulers. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 98,200 - 163,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
