The Sales Specialist – Histology Instruments for Leica Biosystems is responsible for developing and executing successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in territory. They will also work collaboratively with Sales, Service and Applications counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets while exceeding customer expectations. This position is part of the Sales team and will be fully remote within the assigned territory. You will be a part of the Commercial Organization and report to the Sales Manager - Core Histology responsible for leading a team of sales representatives to exceed Leica Biosystems sales goals and deliver on commercial strategies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - The Sales Specialist will achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team within their territory. In addition, the associate will maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in Salesforce.com with coaching as needed. - The associate will achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance and coordinate product demo, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor. - Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories. - Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies, utilize Strategic Selling tools (Blue sheets) with mentorship and guidance. The essential requirements of the job include: - Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree OR equivalent work experience - Minimum 3+ years relevant sales experience (or equivalent work experience) - Proven time management skills - Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment. - Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Travel and Motor Vehicle Record Requirements: - Ability to travel 50-75% overnight for territory coverage and/or for company meetings. - Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: - Prior capital sales experience. The annual salary range for this role is $120,000 - 140,000 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
