Role Description Claap Marketing Lead: a 360° entrepreneur role inside the lemlist Marketing team. We’re looking for our first Claap Marketing Lead to own how we position and distribute Claap, and help take the product from $2M to $4.5M ARR in the next 12 months. This role requires a strong entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on experience across both Product Marketing (positioning, messaging, use cases) and Growth (acquisition and activation). You’ll operate with both a PLG and sales-led mindset. Claap historically grew through self-serve and word of mouth. As we move upmarket, your mission is to turn the product into a growth engine that drives self-serve adoption and fuels the sales team, with an international growth mindset and a strong focus on the US market. Most of the playbook still needs to be written. Demand generation and acquisition channels are largely untapped. You’ll build them. As Claap Marketing Lead, you’ll be part of the lemlist Marketing team and have access to its full firepower, from brand design to paid acquisition and outbound expertise. You can tap into these resources as needed, or decide to externalize with freelancers. But you’re also expected to be hands-on, launching and executing yourself before handing anything over. You’ll manage a €300k annual budget (paid + freelancers), report directly to lemlist’s CMO, and work closely with Claap’s founders and the entire lemlist Marketing team. High ownership. High expectations. High impact. What you’ll do - Narrative & Positioning: Work with Claap founders and lemlist’s CMO to define the why behind each feature, and turn it into sharp messaging, storytelling, and use cases that resonate with Sales teams. You’ll own the website and iterate on its content fast. - Use Case Design & Workflow Thinking: Build real Claap usage scenarios with our Sales team, customer champions, or partners: advanced CRM syncs, automated deal scoring, AI agents, and workflows that make Claap indispensable. - GTM launch: Plan and execute go-to-market launches across multiple channels: SEO, influencer marketing, outbound, drip campaigns, SEA, and social ads. - Content Assets: Own key product marketing deliverables: product pages, newsletters, launch kits, customer success stories, webinars. - Market & Product Expertise: Become the in-house expert on product capabilities, user behavior, sales personas, competitor moves, and industry trends. Your first year at Claap x lemlist - Months 1–3 — Learn fast, ship early: - Deep dive into Claap: product, personas, market, and competitors. - Immerse yourself in our GTM motion by shadowing Claap founders, Product, Sales, and CS, while also learning from the lemlist Marketing team to replicate what already works at scale. - Contribute to your first product launch: co-craft the narrative & GTM playbook, orchestrate launch campaigns, and create core assets (e.g. product pages). - Validate initial acquisition channels with the lemlist Growth team, whether influencer marketing, paid, or outbound. - Create strong, differentiated use cases around Claap’s key USPs. - Produce and publish your first customer success story. - Months 3–6 — Own GTM and build the engine: - Lead and own GTM for major feature launches, from narrative to distribution, with clear acquisition and/or activation KPIs. - Build Claap’s acquisition playbook with repeatable tactics that drive predictable growth, especially in the US and sales-led motions. - Proactively identify and convince top US sales leaders, partners or operators to become Claap advocates, by organizing and hosting expert-led webinars, co-created playbooks, and/or events. - Turn product features into scalable demand generators for both self-serve and sales. - Independently create and ship content: product pages, playbooks, email campaigns, social posts, and video scripts (YouTube long-form, UGC content, ad shorts). - Start structuring how marketing performance is measured and tied to revenue impact. - Months 6–12 — Scale and shape your role: - Scale what works: double down on the highest-impact channels and kill what doesn’t. - Own international growth with the US as the primary market, in close collaboration with Sales. - Drive Claap’s narrative at scale, becoming the internal reference on positioning, use cases, and GTM strategy. - Manage budget, external support, and execution with increasing autonomy. - Shape your own role based on what creates the most impact. Qualifications - 4+ years of B2B SaaS experience in a high-impact GTM role, with a track record of successful launches. - Ownership and founder mindset, comfortable building from scratch in ambiguous, high-impact environments. - Growth-minded with a focus on metrics: acquisition, activation, adoption, and revenue impact. - Creative in finding original angles, formats, and narratives to stand out. - Passionate about working with AI-powered products and translating complex AI capabilities into clear, practical value for users. - Strong knowledge of Sales or RevOps personas, tools, and ecosystems. - Deep obsession for RevOps logic and real-life usage scenarios from Sales reps and Sales leaders. - Ability to turn features into simple, compelling narratives that help sales teams understand, adopt, and scale proven workflows. - Fluent in English, with clear and confident communication skills. Benefits - Competitive salary + company bonus (up to 15K€ per year depending on company’s performance). - 37 days of holidays/year (+3 additional days offered by lempire). - Comprehensive 100% premium medical coverage for you and your family. - Daily meal tickets to fuel productivity. - Seamless commuting with a 100% covered Navigo card. - Annual team building events at exciting locations around the world. Recruitment Process - 30 min screen interview with Domitille (CMO) or Victoire (TAM). - Business Case (async.) + 45min live Q&A with Domitille (CMO). - 30 min interview with one of Claap co-founders + Erwan (VP of Growth). - Reference Check. - Offer.
