Adjuster, Casualty Bodily Injury

• Conduct thorough investigations of bodily injury claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages. • Gather relevant information, including statements from parties involved, medical records, police reports, and any other pertinent documents. • Assess the extent of bodily injuries and associated medical treatments to determine appropriate compensation. • Analyze policy coverage and apply relevant laws and regulations to claims. • Maintain clear and professional communication with policyholders, claimants, attorneys, medical providers, and other stakeholders. • Provide updates on the status of claims and address inquiries in a timely manner. • Negotiate with claimants and attorneys to reach fair and reasonable settlements within established authority limits. • Review settlement agreements and release forms. • Provide excellent customer service to policyholders and claimants by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and responsiveness. • Ensure compliance with all applicable insurance laws, regulations, and company policies. • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting bodily injury claims. • Respond timely and appropriately to all settlement demands.
Job Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred and/or a minimum of 3 years of related work experience, preferably with BI claims.
- Active Adjuster’s license
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and procedures.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a caseload.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Windows-based applications, and internet usage.
- Guidewire knowledge preferred.
- Must be familiar with forms, procedures, regulations, coverages, and claims processes.
- Must be able to exercise good judgment and state opinions assertively.
- Must be able to write and speak clearly and concisely.
- Must be able to perform work effectively in a highly intense environment and handle multiple tasks and demands simultaneously.
- Must illustrate analytical skills to identify, gather, and organize information.
- Must be able to work independently in a team environment.

• Lead the end-to-end IV&V engagement, including scope, schedule, risks, and stakeholder management • Develop and maintain the IV&V Management and Work Plan, including assessment methodology, detailed activities, roles and responsibilities, engagement cadence, and resource needs • Oversee and coordinate IV&V activities across the main readiness areas: System/Technology, Operations & Production Readiness, and Go-Live Readiness Criteria • Plan and facilitate interviews, workshops, system demonstrations, and documentation reviews with client and vendor teams • Review and challenge testing strategy, defect management, change and release management, performance/load testing, and infrastructure/network readiness • Direct the evaluation of ITIL-aligned processes (incident/problem/change management, DR/BCP, standard operating procedures) and service/support readiness • Synthesize findings into interim status updates, executive dashboards, and periodic readiness assessments highlighting strengths, gaps, risks, and dependencies • Own creation and delivery of the Final Readiness Assessment Report, including a clear go/no-go recommendation and “Definition of Done” criteria for go-live • Ensure IV&V independence and objectivity while maintaining a collaborative relationship with program stakeholders • Mentor and guide IV&V Analysts and SMEs, ensuring consistency and quality of assessment artifacts and recommendations.
• You'll develop relationships with Accenture and be the “go to” to review construction plans and specifications during preconstruction to prepare and complete estimates for new construction and renovation projects. • You'll prepare accurate and detailed construction cost and project cost estimates from conceptual design through final construction document level design. • You'll work as an integral part of our Estimating Team to perform plan and specification analysis, takeoff, and pricing of various types of construction projects. • You'll prepare detailed bid analysis and review. • You'll prepare independent estimates, including reporting differences in scope, quantities, and pricing from contractor’s estimate. • You'll plan, coordinate, review, verify, and analyze all aspects of estimates and estimate presentation. • You'll research prices on material and labor using published documents, local conditions, market studies, and has a full understanding of market specific estimating matters. • You'll acquire and evaluate historical and vendor cost data for the development of cost estimates and price recommendations and forecasts future projects costs and changes to existing projects. • You'll prepare technical evaluations, cost estimating draft reports, memos, and letters and presents recommendations to management and client. • You'll attend client meetings and feel comfortable presenting to groups of various sizes and stakeholders. • You'll prepare value engineering, cost option and cost strategy estimates. • You'll participate in Value Engineering studies, reconciliations, and negotiations with contractors. • You'll identify and assess improvement opportunities within the Estimating Team to add value.
