Role Description At Ideaware, we’re building a cross-functional product team that will integrate quickly with our U.S.-based client — an international team operating in the Real Estate Technology space. We’re looking for a Junior–Mid Database Administrator (DBA) who can contribute from day one and support data integrity, performance, and analytics across the platform. You’ll join a fast-paced, product-driven environment where data reliability, efficiency, and accessibility are key to product success. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data systems, optimizing performance, and enabling teams to make better, data-informed decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to support data-driven features and analytics workflows. Responsibilities - Optimize and maintain database performance through query tuning, indexing, and monitoring. - Design and support data models to ensure scalability, consistency, and efficiency. - Collaborate with engineering teams to support data-driven features and backend integrations. - Support and maintain data pipelines and analytics workflows. - Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability across systems. - Assist in building and maintaining reporting structures and datasets. - Identify opportunities to improve data architecture and performance. - Explore and adopt tools (including AI-driven tools) that improve data workflows and productivity. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience working with SQL, including query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning. - Experience with data modeling and reporting. - Ability to support data pipelines and analytics workflows. - Comfort working with engineering teams on data-driven features. - English proficiency at B2 level or higher (able to communicate effectively in written and spoken form in professional settings).
