Role Description We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our Technical Accounting team in our CFO Advisory practice. CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Lead a team for day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, collections, payroll, and general accounting functions for clients across diverse industries. - Manage the month-end close process including reconciliations and monthly financial reports for clients. - Develop and analyze cost accounting standards and processes for business activities. - Assess production costs including utilization of equipment and labor, overhead, and recommend opportunities for improvement. - Evaluate standard to actual costs and prepare internal cost reports and audit support. - Recommend and provide best practices for inventory management processes that align to ASC 330 and IAS 2. - Perform reconciliations, analyzing production costs, inventory valuations, and margin variances. - Understand the procure-to-pay process and recommend best practices. - Drive initiatives to improve profitability, controls, supply chain management, and demand planning. - Prepare and lead initiatives for adjusting accounting records from historical cash basis to an accrual basis of accounting (e.g. under US GAAP requirements). - Coordinate and complete annual audits. - Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy. - Develop cash forecasts in assisting management with forecasted cash flows. - Prepare management reports with KPIs. - Participate in and drive business development.
