Director, Organizational Development – Learning

HighLevel

• Define and own the Learning & Development charter, vision, and multi-year roadmap, aligned with business priorities and the growth strategy. • Position L&D as a strategic lever for performance, engagement, and organizational health. • Establish governance, operating models, and success metrics for all learning initiatives. • Lead OD initiatives, including organizational diagnostics, capability modelling, culture interventions, and change management. • Embed learning into change programs, transformations, and scaling efforts. • Partner with Talent and People teams to align L&D with: - Performance management - Career architecture and progression - Leadership pipeline and succession planning - Key and critical talent development - Design leadership and manager development programs that support current and future capability needs. • Design and scale leadership development programs across levels (new managers, senior leaders, executives). • Build functional and capability programs aligned to business outcomes. • Enable managers as coaches through targeted enablement and toolkits. • Oversee the design of blended learning experiences (VILT, digital, cohort-based, on-the-job). • Ensure adult learning principles, real-world application, and measurable impact are embedded in all programs. • Leverage internal SMEs and external partners strategically. • Own the learning technology ecosystem (LMS/LXP, content platforms, analytics). • Drive adoption of modern, scalable, and AI-enabled learning solutions. • Define and track learning effectiveness using KPIs tied to performance, behavior change, and business results. • Use analytics and feedback loops to continuously refine programs. • Communicate impact and insights to executive stakeholders. • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing L&D team (internal and vendor partners). • Establish clear roles, career paths, and capability standards within the L&D function. • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s / MBA preferred.
  • Certifications in OD, L&D, coaching, or change management (e.g., CPTD, ATD, ICF, Prosci) are a plus.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, and/or Talent Management.
  • Proven experience building or transforming L&D functions in high-growth, global, SaaS or product-led organizations.
  • Strong track record of partnering with senior leaders and influencing at the executive level.
  • Deep expertise in:
  • L&D strategy and operating models
  • Organizational development and change management
  • Leadership development and succession planning
  • Talent and performance ecosystems
  • Experience designing job architectures, competency frameworks, or career paths (strong plus).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to connect learning outcomes to business impact.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
  • Systems-level thinker who connects learning, talent, culture, and performance.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from zero to scale.

Position Summary Accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year. Our state certified virtual teachers manage online instructional programs for students around the country and across the globe. Teachers communicate regularly with students to ensure that each student successfully completes their instructional program. This is a work from home position. Compensation will be based on the specific course workload and number of enrolled students. Adjunct teachers are not provided with computer equipment but must have a reliable Internet connection. Primary Responsibilities: The Adjunct Chinese Teacher will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks: - Support the instructional program with synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions using Adobe Connect; - Complete all grading by providing prompt, high-quality, personalized feedback on assignments; - Communicate with students, and other teachers on a regular basis to update pacing plans/schedules for students as required; - Use data to monitor successful completion of assignments and facilitate appropriate interactions with students that encourage consistent interaction with the course(s); - Review curriculum and determine course modifications that will promote student achievement for those requiring accommodations through IEPs or 504 plans; - Consult with team members and administrators to develop alternate enrichment activities and lesson modifications to increase student understanding and promote success for struggling or at-risk students through differentiation; - Develop a general knowledge of the curriculum and a detailed knowledge of the courses for which you are responsible; - Communicate regularly with students, using phone, Chat and our WebMail system; - Adhere to all policies regarding protecting students' well-being and personal information, including following FERPA and Copyright & Fair Use laws; - Keep student performance and information up-to-date by grading assessments in a timely manner, and logging all student and parent contacts; - Utilize a variety of communication tools in the online environment to effectively build relationships and promote student success with students, teachers, colleagues, and other stakeholders; - Foster community and use a welcoming, warm online voice that is inviting and supportive towards students and families; - Other duties as assigned.
