Remote Service Technician

Numotion

Role Description A Remote Service Technician is responsible for assessing and troubleshooting power mobility and home access equipment to diagnose the problem and create a solution path to fix. Solutions typically include collaboration and partnership with parts experts, manufacturers, and field service technicians to fix the equipment. Key Responsibilities - Answer phone calls from customers and assist them with equipment troubleshooting and repair diagnostics. - Work with manufacturers to order warranty replacement parts for customers. - Create work orders to engage field service technicians (contractors) when in-home service repairs are required. - Collaborate closely with other team members to provide exceptional level of service to customers. - Train and educate customers and caregivers in the proper use, maintenance, and safety of equipment as needed. - Maintain and expand product, company policy, and process knowledge actively participating in organized and self-driven training. - Participate in the recruitment, assessment, and work order level management of field service technicians. - Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’s mission. - Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations. - Always provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations. - Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority. Qualifications - High School Diploma/GED. - Minimum five (5) years of experience as a mobility equipment service technician. - Experience in delivering client-focused, need-based solutions and services. - Ability to clearly communicate technical information, verbal and written, with customers, MFG, and internal stakeholders. - Ability to multitask while providing exceptional support and responsiveness to customers. - Experience with order and information management and systems. - Dedicated, quiet, home workspace with strong internet connection. Physical Requirements - Ability to meet essential functions of the position with reasonable accommodations as necessary. - Prolonged periods of working at a desk and/or on a computer. - Ability to work overtime as needed.
