The Difference You Will Make: Airbnb is seeking a Lead, Advanced Analytics, Product. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic business and product initiatives through detailed data analysis, experimentation, statistical modeling, and the development of reporting tools and metrics. The individual will be instrumental in driving product decisions across topic areas such as pricing and calendar availability, and competitive intelligence. The role would partner directly with the head of Product for Marketplace. A Typical Day: - Conduct advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions. - Design, execute, and analyze experiments to measure feature impact and guide product iterations. Leverage causal methods when traditional randomized trials aren’t available. - Design and build metrics / dimensions to monitor product and business performance. - Build sophisticated reporting and analytical tools that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. - Work cross-functionally with Strategic Finance, Data and Analytical Engineering,and Data Science teams to ensure alignment and leverage synergies. - Manage senior stakeholder relationships, ensuring clarity of communication and strategic alignment on analytics initiatives.
