Data Analyst

TrueScripts Management Services

• The Data Analyst at TrueScripts Management Services deals with data related to health insurance claims, client, drugs and members on a daily transactional level • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions • Responsibilities include data wrangling, building PowerBi dashboards, creating client reports, developing metrics and insights for program development • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven approaches to support business goals • Building and maintaining the company’s data and analytics dashboards • Performing analytics to guide development of new programs or assisting leadership in decision making • Creating ad hoc client reports as requested by other departments • Aid in continuous improvement in data processing to respond faster to Analytics requests • Building and maintaining business process documentation related to the role • Have strong data troubleshooting or EDA skills to identify inconsistencies and errors in a complex data warehouse • A deep understanding of the PBM industry is key for success, requiring willingness to learn and keep up with industry trends • Ability to summarize data/insights to business team members in a non-technical manner

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst or related role; or a Master’s degree in a related field
  • SQL expert with ability to build complex queries and perform deep dive analytics
  • Experience with PowerBI/Tableau and Azure AAS or similar tools
  • Excel expert for reporting and analytics using – charts and excel formulas
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Understanding of Database Concepts and the ability to interact technically with BI Developers and Business Analysts.

Role Description The State of Alaska, Department of Administration, Division of Finance, is seeking an experienced Senior HRIS Analyst / Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in supporting Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) in a government organization and proven ability to work collaboratively with human resource and payroll business stakeholders and technical teams. The HRIS Analyst / Programmer will be responsible for: - Representing and advocating for the needs of the state’s HRIS both within the Division of Finance as well as with other state agencies and providing technical assistance to organizations outside of the Division who need to receive or provide information about HR and payroll. - Acting as team lead or supervisor, providing guidance and direction to other HRIS team members and contractors, implementing HRIS projects, monitoring contractual services and overseeing payroll production processing. - Analyzing complex and mission-critical requirements and determining how these requirements can best be met using the state’s HRIS. - Analyzing the effect of proposed or enacted legislation on the HRIS and serve as a consultant to management in the determination of the feasibility of implementing proposed changes.
