Role Description As the Actuarial Coordinator, Special Projects, you will play a key role in supporting enterprise-wide actuarial initiatives across annuity and life businesses. Unlike traditional valuation roles, this position is project-driven and focused on strategic initiatives, regulatory developments, model enhancements, and new product implementations. This role requires strong hands-on AXIS modeling expertise and the ability to operate independently in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. - Leading and supporting enterprise actuarial initiatives, including regulatory changes (e.g., VM-22) and model governance improvements - Supporting new product implementation and model development within AXIS - Performing in-depth AXIS liability modeling, including assumption updates, sensitivity testing, and model validation - Supporting asset and ALM modeling within AXIS, including integration of asset cash flows and liability projections where applicable - Performing model output validation, reconciliations, and analytical reviews to ensure accuracy and control integrity - Assisting with financial reporting impacts related to modeling changes (statutory, GAAP, and LDTI, as applicable) - Partnering with Finance, IT, Risk, and external stakeholders to coordinate deliverables and resolve technical issues - Supporting documentation of methodologies, model governance, and control frameworks - Contributing to process improvements to strengthen efficiency, transparency, and audit readiness This role is ideal for a technically strong actuarial professional who enjoys complex problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and working on high-impact initiatives that shape the company's actuarial infrastructure.
