Description The development team is responsible for building and maintaining software that supports our primary service delivery EMR systems, JBS and Ignite. As a member of the development team you are expected to support the team and the product through the product lifecycle: Ø Understand the product: Build understanding of our customers’ needs and have a thorough understanding of the technology framework and processes that are in place. Ø Build the product: Build pipelines that perform consistently and allow the development team to move quickly from concept to production. Ø Test the product: Ensure that we deliver rock-solid software to our clients by engaging in TDD and automated developer and vulnerability testing. Ø Support the product: Support our internal and external clients on an as-needed basis to maintain software stability and assurance. Key Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES · Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines across Azure DevOps, including automated build, test, and deployment workflows for .NET MAUI, Blazor, API services, as well as current Angular/.NET software. · Own platform security integration, including secret management, identity management, and Azure Key Vault governance. · Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep, or Terraform for Azure environments. · Implement automated security scanning (SAST, SCA, container scanning, dependency tracking) and ensure remediation workflows integrate with engineering processes. · Monitor system performance, reliability, deployment health, and security posture across all environments. · Collaborate with developers to implement secure coding patterns and optimize deployment processes. · Establish automated rollback and disaster recovery processes to support high availability. · Improve observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and custom telemetry. · Maintain compliance with organizational standards (HIPAA/SOC2/HITRUST) by implementing auditing, logging, and configuration baselines. · Guide engineering teams in best practices for DevOps and DevSecOps, including shift-left security and early defect detection. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. · 3+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Engineering roles supporting production systems. · Hands-on experience with Azure services such as App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Storage, Service Bus, and Azure Active Directory. · Strong command of CI/CD tooling, preferably Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions. · Experience with infrastructure-as-code (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform). · Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) and familiarity with C# build processes. · Working knowledge of securing .NET applications, including API security, identity flows, secret rotation, and secure configuration management. · Experience implementing vulnerability scanning and automated security validation processes. · Familiarity with containerization concepts and container security (Docker, ACR). · Understanding of networking fundamentals (firewalls, VNETs, private endpoints, zero-trust patterns). · Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability for distributed applications. · Strong analytical mindset and ability to troubleshoot complex deployment and infrastructure issues. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Engineering roles supporting production systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services such as App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Storage, Service Bus, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Strong command of CI/CD tooling, preferably Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform).

The Team Platform Engineering is the department within SRE that is responsible for a range of critical infrastructure and operational functions that support the broader engineering organization.
