Associate General Counsel
Grant Street Group
• Serve as the primary partner to the General Counsel of a GovTech SaaS company. • Help shape the next phase of the legal function spanning every legal issue the company faces. • Embedded with business and technical leaders, helping them navigate complex legal questions in real time. • Strengthening and scaling the company’s legal function.
Job Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA‑accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
- 4-7 years of post‑JD experience.
- At least 3 years of in‑house experience strongly preferred.
- Comfort handling a high volume of concurrent matters, prioritizing effectively, and moving work forward with limited oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and to tailor messaging for senior stakeholders.
- High level of personal integrity, judgment, and discretion, with a track record of building trust across functions.
- Experience drafting and negotiating technology‑focused commercial agreements.
- Experience with data and privacy issues in contracts.
- Familiarity with legal AI tools and a demonstrated interest in building OpenClaw assistants (vibe coding, AI orchestration engineering).
