• Reporting to the CISO, you build security engineering for Sysdig, end to end, across the full code-to-cloud lifecycle. This is a senior leadership role on the Trust & Security team. You'll lead a small, high-leverage team of senior and staff security engineers. This team's technical direction will be set by you, and you'll grow it through hiring and the development of senior talent. Additionally, you'll own the security-engineering roadmap, standards, and budget. • Set functional strategy with the CISO and senior leadership. Translate security strategy into operational plans and policy, cascade it across the function, and act as the final decision-maker for security-engineering standards, tooling, and practices. • Bring an AI-first mindset to security delivery. Use AI to deliver security capabilities that help engineering build better systems and write better code. • Make AI-assisted and agent-driven development safe across the org, use AI agents to scale security work itself, and defend the AI agents and workloads we run in production as first-class attack surface — work where the problems aren't clearly defined and established principles don't fully apply. • Partner with product. Go beyond feedback, bring thoughtful, hands-on guidance to the roadmap, using new capabilities first internally, then helping mature both our core cloud defense platform and our new AI workload protection. You'll be a true product partner, not just an internal user. • Represent security with executives and customers. Engage senior leadership and major customers on security matters of significance, reconcile diverse stakeholder views to drive outcomes, and serve as a key leader within the Trust & Security function. • Turn compliance into assurance. We maintain ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and SOC 2 Type II — but that's the floor. Your aim is continuous assurance of controls that not only meet the needs of the auditor but, more importantly, protect the trust of the customer. • Model how we lead. • Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be part of a team of expert developers building the core distributed systems that power the Sysdig platform at scale. • Collaborate with colleagues in product and design to define feature specifications and timelines. • Be part of an amazing team where the primary goal for everybody is to work together to build the best product we can. • Team Leadership: Reporting to the Senior Director Engineering you will build, mentor, and lead a high-performing development team for Sysdig's next-generation Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) product. • Execution & Delivery: Communicate team priorities, define development tasks aligned with broader organizational goals, and own the planning and tracking of sprint deliverables. • Cross-Functional Execution: Drive high-visibility, company-level strategic initiatives across the organization, aligning product, security, and infrastructure teams to push projects across the finish line. • Dependency & Constraint Navigation: Masterfully manage complex cross-team dependencies, mitigating timeline shifts and engineering bandwidth constraints without sacrificing quality. • Customer & Stakeholder Diplomacy: Act as a key technical touchpoint for stakeholders and customers, managing expectations transparently when requirements, timelines, or scopes wiggle. • Next-Gen AI Workflows: Champion and scale our transition into a purely Claude Code-based development workflow, driving team adoption of AI-native engineering for rapid feature development, refactoring, and code comprehension. • AI-Driven Automation: Architect and implement automated pipelines using Claude Code for autonomous testing, continuous maintenance, code review assists, and boilerplate generation to significantly boost team velocity. • Architecture & Design: Guide the design of multitenant, cloud-native data processing microservices for high resiliency and performance. • Hands-on Engagement: Stay close to the metal by reviewing code developed by the team and jumping in with hands-on coding when necessary to unblock milestones.

• Design and develop components related to real-time detection and response to security threats in hosts, Kubernetes, and Cloud assets • Build distributed Go services and APIs to process, store, and expose customer asset metadata and runtime insights • Contribute to architecture improvements for reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency • Collaborate with Product, Threat Research, Frontend/UX, and customer-facing teams to deliver features with measurable impact • Participate in an on-call rotation to address any urgent issue

• Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will lead a team, developing performance testing frameworks and utilities to ensure the scalability and reliability of our systems. • Collaborate with development teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks in software applications and infrastructure. • Build system testing strategies, tools and infrastructure to test the reliability and resilience of Sysdig platform. • Implement custom tooling for automated performance evaluations in CI/CD lifecycle to provide real-time feedback on system performance. • Conduct system performance analysis and provide optimization recommendations to enhance the efficiency of cloud and container environments. • Participate in the architectural design reviews to ensure performance considerations are included in the development of new features.

• Partner with Product and stakeholders to support data-driven product and business strategy, you will report to the Sr. Director, Product Operations. • Collect, clean, and analyze product and operational data from multiple sources. • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track product Indicators and performance. • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support product launches and business initiatives. Translate data into clear insights for team members.

• Lead the design and development of core components for the data platform, focusing on high-throughput data ingestion, transformation, and storage. • Architect and implement robust, distributed, and scalable data processing pipelines in Go to ensure data quality and reliability. • Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for the data platform, anticipating future data needs for product features and internal analytics. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers on the team. • Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent operational issues impacting data services.

• Research novel cloud-based cyber attacks and malicious actor TTPs, reporting to Sr. Director, Threat Research • Develop novel research topics based on emerging threat trends, attacker behaviors, and gaps in current security detection • Author content on all aspects of cloud and container security and publish your findings • Develop relevant threat intelligence based on malware analysis to help secure our customers' environments • Partner with our application and product teams to architect security solutions for containers, Kubernetes, and cloud • Develop security rules and algorithms based on security research and best practices

• Own the design and development of features and components for the data platform, focusing on high-throughput data ingestion, transformation, and storage. You will report to the Director, Engineering. • Architect and implement robust, distributed, and scalable data processing pipelines in Go to ensure data quality and reliability. • Contribute to the technical strategy and roadmap for the data platform, anticipating future data needs for product features and internal analytics. • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on the team, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and best practices. • Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent operational issues impacting data services.

• Reporting to the Director of Customer Success EMEA you will be the technical authority on the Sysdig Platform and become the customer's go-to advisor. • You will help with customer onboarding, thus driving adoption. • You will understand the customer's requirements, challenges, and what outcomes and value they are expecting in their Sysdig journey.
