Dura Software
• Own and evolve hybrid infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem environments • Manage VMware and Windows Server infrastructure including backups, DR readiness, and lifecycle management • Implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and standardized deployment practices • Establish monitoring, alerting, and proactive log analysis • Design and test disaster recovery and business continuity procedures • Support ISO, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and customer security requirements • Manage identity, MFA, access controls, credential rotation, and audit readiness • Partner with Dura shared services on centralized tooling such as SIEM • Create runbooks, document tribal knowledge, and cross-train team members
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure experience
- Hands-on experience with at least two of AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience in hybrid and legacy environments
- Strong CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code background
- Windows Server and Linux administration experience
- Networking fundamentals including firewalls, DNS, and SSL/TLS
- Excellent documentation, communication, and teaching mindset

Role Description CommIT Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Customer Support DevSecOps Engineer to join the team in Charleston, SC - can also be remote! This role blends hands-on DevSecOps engineering with direct customer support, audit readiness, and operational troubleshooting. The engineer will collaborate closely with software developers, system administrators, and cybersecurity teams to deploy, secure, and sustain enterprise applications and infrastructure. This position includes responsibility for proactive customer systems and audit support and participation in an after-hours on-call rotation to support customer needs. Candidates with Appian or MarkLogic subject-matter expertise are strongly preferred due to the technologies used across our customer environments. Responsibilities - Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance tools, systems, pipelines, and security posture. - Provide customer-facing support for troubleshooting, incident response, and operational issues. - Perform Linux server administration and system hardening. - Support network infrastructure components including BigIP F5, VPNs, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, and SFTP. - Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure in AWS (EC2, VPC, Lambda, S3, EFS, ECR/ECS, Route53, IAM, RDS, Autoscaling, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, etc.). - Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Xray, Jira, and SonarQube. - Write, debug, and maintain code across compiled and scripted languages. - Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform. - Automate manual operational tasks using scripting and DevOps tooling. - Conduct system testing for security, performance, and availability. - Develop and maintain documentation for design, troubleshooting, and audit readiness. - Implement security controls aligned with DoD, NIST, and industry best practices. - Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to support customer environments. - Provide audit support, including generating artifacts, evidence, and compliance documentation. - Serve as an SME for Appian or MarkLogic, supporting application deployments, troubleshooting, and customer inquiries.
