Account Executive
Leepfrog Technologies
• Close sales in a consultative, longer sales cycle, higher price point environment. • Cultivate and nurture new leads and referrals and identify client core needs. • Present company solutions, products and services to current and potential clients • Assist in the creation and delivery of creative, thoughtful and competitive responses to RFPs. • Remain current on new developments in higher education technology. • Understand changing trends and know what the competition is doing. • Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams such as implementation and support. • Attend and present at marketing events such as conferences and webinars and build relationships with clients. • Use Salesforce for account planning and updating progress. • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in consultative software or SaaS sales required
- Experience in EdTech sales required; higher education clients preferred.
- Experience negotiating successful large sales, preferably with education clients or in major account sales is preferred.
- Proficiency in Salesforce is a plus.
- Experience in Demo2Win is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: clear, targeted, persuasive.
- Advanced virtual and live presentation skills
- Excellent sales leadership skills: ability to lead potential clients through a complex sale process.
- Strong client orientation and listening skills: able to understand client requirements and translate them into customization options/plans.
- Ability to operate independently: self-starter in fast-paced environment with strong work ethic.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute: translate broad strategies into tactical plan for your area, and execute the plan over a 3-9-month time span.
- Strong Teamwork: ability to interact effectively cross-functionally with internal resources.
- Self-disciplined and able to maintain a high level of productivity working over a remote environment.
