Handles incoming chat/text messages through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also known as 988. Provides brief clinical screenings, risk assessments and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing emotional distress. While the interactions begin online, this position may also support telephonic intervention if an individual would prefer or need continued support to ensure safety. METRIC: Complete all tech trainings, employee file up to date, policy system is up to date, visited the DMAP SharePoint at least 2x, and checks emails 2x a week (every shift for full time and part time employees). - Able to check in with patients and provide appropriate observations AEB line of sight, 1:1 safety observation when indicated, bathroom observations when indicated, and check in with patients that show rapport has been built.
