As a part of this team, you’d be responsible for providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing emotional distress. The ideal candidate for this role has excellent computer skills, a proven ability to communicate effectively through written communication/instant messaging and the ability to multi-task in a high stress environment. Role Description The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic offers a variety of services to post 9/11 Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, Reservists, National Guard, and their family members. The Outreach Director will be responsible for managing and executing the clinic’s rural outreach strategy and developing the referral pipeline, focused on recruiting post 9/11 veterans and their families in the community. Qualifications - Master’s degree in social work and ability to obtain and maintain license to independently practice as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist in Georgia. - 3+ years’ clinical experience in behavioral healthcare required. - 2+ years in outreach and marketing activities required. - Prior experience in recruitment within the military community and/or veteran administrative organizations required. - Experience working with adults, children, couples, and families is required. - Experience in PTSD diagnosis and treatment is required. - Military background is strongly preferred.
