You care about system health, not just shipping. - Mentor other engineers through code review, pairing, and architectural guidance.   Who You Are Requirement Skills: - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, building web based, multi-tenant, commercial applications - Strong engineering skills across the full stack in TypeScript. You've built and operated production-grade services and shipped production-grade UIs that real users depend on. - Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), including schema design, query optimization, and migrations. - Proven ability to build effective UI in a modern React/TypeScript codebase. You're comfortable with component architecture, state management, and working with design systems. - AWS experience building and deploying cloud-native applications. Familiarity with our specific services (CDK, Cognito, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, S3) is a plus. - Ability to navigate and debug across multiple layers of the stack (UI, services, databases, ETL pipelines) - You've worked in a monorepo or multi-service architecture and understand the tradeoffs. - You've shipped SaaS products and understand what it means to operate software, not just deploy it. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical decisions and collaborate effectively across teams. - You're comfortable with ambiguity and can make progress without perfect requirements.   Preferred Skills: - Healthcare domain experience or familiarity with HIPAA/SOC/HITRUST compliance requirements. - Experience with infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK, Tofu, Terraform, etc.). - Experience leveraging AI tools like Claude to accelerate development workflows, automate repetitive engineering tasks, or integrate LLM capabilities into product features. - You've been through hypergrowth at a startup and know what that demands. For employees within a reasonable driving distance of each other, we host regional town hall gatherings approximately every other month. These sessions give our teams a chance to come together, share updates, and strengthen relationships beyond day-to-day work. In addition to our great environment, we offer a salary of between $140,000 and $160,000 and benefits package and the opportunity to make a significant impact on a first-in-industry digital health solution. Please send a cover letter along with your resume when applying to the position of interest. Claritas Rx embraces diversity, equality, and transparency.
