We're seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations and financial reporting as we continue to scale globally. Reporting to the President, you'll be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, establishing robust controls, and providing strategic financial insights across our multi-country operations. This role is critical as we strengthen our financial infrastructure to support continued growth. Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Compliance - Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across all entities - Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports - Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards, and local regulations in all operating jurisdictions - Manage external audit relationships and coordinate annual audits - Maintain and improve the chart of accounts, accounting policies, and procedures Financial Planning & Analysis - Lead Anatta’s annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles - Develop financial models tied to company growth strategy - Build a financial forecast tied to company growth strategy - Conduct variance analysis against budget and forecast - Develop an executive level financial insight dashboard - Develop financial models for sales, delivery, executives, and etc. - Develop a workforce planning and capacity planning dashboard - Perform scenario modeling for market changes and strategic initiatives - Design cash flow projections, profitability modeling, capacity planning, services margin modeling - Develop scenario based modeling frameworks - Define and develop kpi dashboard Financial Operations - Oversee all accounting operations - Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, revenue recognition, fixed assets, and etc.. - Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing process - Prepare and review financial statements - Manage accounting software and infrastructure - Oversee tax filings - Manage cash flow forecasting - Monitor operating cash requirements - Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets - Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll across jurisdictions Cross-Border Management - Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations between Indian and North American entities - Navigate foreign currency transactions and hedging strategies - Coordinate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions (income tax, GST, sales tax, etc.) - Handle transfer pricing documentation and compliance requirements Systems & Process Improvement - Optimize accounting systems and implement automation where possible - Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs for management - Lead ERP system enhancements or implementations as needed - Create scalable processes to support business growth Strategic Partnership - Partner with the executive management on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning - Provide financial analysis to support business decisions - Identify cost optimization opportunities and revenue recognition improvements - Develop board level weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting - Monitor company profits, margin, and cost Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or CMA strongly preferred - 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role - Experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries/entities - Strong knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards is a plus - Proven experience with multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange management - Experience in professional services, agency, or project-based business models preferred - Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage Intacct, or similar) - Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools Preferred Skills and Technologies - eCommerce, digital marketing, or technology agency experience - Experience working with fractional or part-time CFOs/financial leadership - Knowledge of revenue recognition for service-based businesses (ASC 606) - Familiarity with Indian GST, US sales tax, and Canadian tax requirements - Experience implementing or upgrading accounting systems - Prior experience managing remote/distributed accounting teams - Background in fast-paced, high-growth environments - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Excellent communication skills with ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders - Leadership and team development capabilities - Ability to work across time zones and cultures effectively - Process-oriented mindset with focus on continuous improvement - Comfort with ambiguity and ability to build structure in growing organizations - Strong organizational and project management skills What are the perks? If this role is filled in the US, the annual salary range is $120,000 USD - $165,000 USD and is commensurate to several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to years of experience, skill set / qualifications, and geographical work location considering differences in cost of living, therefore, actual base pay offered may vary. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or CMA strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role
  • Experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries/entities
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES Government Reimbursement Reporting & Compliance - Prepare and oversee Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and monitor compliance with CMS regulations and required attestations. - Report and monitor all supplemental Federal and State reimbursement programs. - Coordinate Medicare and Medicaid audits and prepare supporting documentation and work papers across Emory Healthcare. - Assist with provider-based attestations and associated Federal and State reporting requirements. - Monitor and interpret correspondence from Medicare Administrative Contractors (MAC) regarding interim rate setting and reimbursement compliance. Financial Analysis & Reporting - Conduct detailed financial analyses to evaluate revenue performance, reimbursement trends, and operational impact. - Analyze payer mix and operational changes affecting governmental reimbursements. - Develop financial insights and recommendations to improve reimbursement performance. - Prepare and review statistical reports, financial statements, and supporting schedules for leadership. - Develop long-range financial and cash flow forecasting models.
