Responsibilities - Own the quality strategy for a major product area, ensuring comprehensive coverage across features, integrations, and data flows. - Develop deep expertise in business logic and proactively identify risk areas before implementation begins. - Translate ambiguous requirements into structured, comprehensive test strategies in Qase. - Design complex, multi-system test scenarios that validate real-world workflows and failure states. - Execute advanced exploratory testing to uncover edge cases others may miss. - Lead regression strategy for your domain and ensure coverage evolves as the system grows. - Partner with automation engineers to prioritize and evolve automation coverage strategically. - Analyze defect trends and propose systemic improvements to reduce recurring issues. - Participate in architecture and design discussions to advocate for testability and risk mitigation. - Communicate release risk and tradeoffs clearly to engineering and product leadership. - Mentor Quality Analysts and help level up testing rigor, documentation quality, and risk awareness. - Raise the standard of clarity in acceptance criteria and definition of done.
