MD&A

• Tuning of heavy duty DLN type I & II for emissions and/or dynamics • Knowledge of digital type GT controls for calibrations, minor maintenance, and troubleshooting • Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs, internal service records and final reports in a timely manner • Maintenance & knowledge of proper use of portable combustion dynamics equipment • Ability to work independently and maintain daily communications with customers • Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements; • Working as a member of the team to provide efficient service delivery to all customers • Performing controls field engineer functions when not on tuning assignments

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering)
  • Five years’ work experience in the Power Generation industry
  • Two years experience tuning heavy duty DLN turbines
  • Experience interfacing with customers
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel on short notice
  • Must be able to work in US power plant and other industrial environments

Position Overview: The Dexter Robotics Launch Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring successful adoption of the Dexter robotic system at new customer sites across the United States. As part of the dedicated Robotics Launch Team, you will provide hands-on clinical and operational support during new robot installations, accelerating first cases, supporting surgeon and OR staff training, and ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes during the early stages of adoption. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Clinical Specialists, hospital teams, and internal cross-functional partners to deliver a premium “white-glove” launch experience, while supporting structured handoffs to permanent Dexter Clinical Sales Specialists (CSS) following launch completion. Duties and Responsibilities: Clinical Launch Support - Provide direct intraoperative and perioperative clinical support during Dexter robotic system launches, including system setup, docking, instrumentation, sterile field management, troubleshooting, and support during initial cases. - Support training of surgeons, nurses, and OR staff to accelerate proficiency and ensure safe and effective use of the Dexter robotic system. - Support competency development and readiness of surgeons and OR teams, ensuring stakeholders achieve the proficiency required for safe and effective Dexter robotic system use. - Maintain expert knowledge of the Dexter robotic system, surgical workflows, and operating room best practices while effectively communicating the clinical benefits of robotic-assisted surgery. Customer Launch Experience - Deliver a premium “white-glove” launch experience that minimizes early friction and promotes strong early adoption and case utilization. - Identify and address customer needs before, during, and after launch implementation to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. - Build strong working relationships with surgeons, OR teams, hospital leadership, and internal stakeholders to support long-term customer success. - Travel nationally to support new robot installations and launch activities across multiple customer sites.
